In this course, we will be exploring the major turning points that shaped the modern world, including the cause and course of the two world wars.

Students in grade eleven study the major turning points in American history in the twentieth century.

Do you know what it means to live in a democracy? What are your rights and responsibilities as a citizen in a democratic country? What would a new U.S. citizen need to know about fulfilling these responsibilities? The answers to these questions can be found in this course.

Students will master fundamental economic concepts, applying the tools (graphs, statistics, equations) from other-subject areas to the understanding of operations and institutions of economic systems.
